| BABY OF BATAAN |
| "Baby of Bataan" is the true story of one of the youngest U.S. Army Prisoners of War in the Philippines in World War II. Joseph Quitman Johnson joined the Army at age 14. He defended Bataan as a member of the 31st Infantry Regiment in Manila, escaped to Corregidor when Bataan was surrendered to the Japanese and fought there until it was also surrendered. He spent the remainder of the war as a P.O.W. in various prison camps in the Philippines and on the Japanese mainland. |
